Maria & Joy from Children’s Memorial Hospital are raising money for Special Olympics. Join the CMH ladies for drinks on Thursday, July 22nd, 7pm at Louie’s Pub.
All of us that have children in Chicago have visited the emergency room at Children’s Memorial Hospital, in Lincoln Park. Thursday, July 22nd is a great way to meet a lot of the doctors and nurses that work in Children’s Memorial Emergency Room, at a fundraiser hosted by them for Special Olympics.
Joy and Maria both work in the CMH ER. They are running the Chicago Marathon, again. They have a goal of raising money for one of all of our favorite charities, the Special Olympics. If you attend on Thursday, you can buy raffle tickets, and enjoy a great evening for a great cause. Come to Louie’s Pub in Wicker Park.

The fundraiser and cocktails will be shared this Thursday at 7pm, July 22nd. Below is the eVITE sent to us from Maria, one of the CMH Emergency Room nurses.
We are working our butts off training for the Chicago Marathon, but we are not too busy to help out a fantastic charity- the Special Olympics Chicago. Together, we need to raise $2200. Help us reach our goal by joining us for a night of cocktails and karaoke (if you’re brave enough
). The evening will feature a number of drink specials, and a split the pot raffle. To help with our cause, you can make a charitable donation at the door- any amount will be appreciated. We hope you can make it!!

Hey! Looks like it will be fun, I’ll be there. Queue up Billy Joel Uptown Girl, cause I’m gonna karaoke!
Just wanted to note that there is no charge to attend, and it is a cash bar. Donations will be accepted, and there will be a raffle. Please share this with all your friends, and try to show up to support a great charity, and have some drinks with great people.
