Bike to Fight, Charity Bike Ride Day 12, Home! May 29th, The destination has changed from Foster Beach, to Quinn Fire Academy, around 2PM, Chicago, IL.  The Chicago Fire Department bike team returns from a grueling ride around Lake Michigan.

Bike to Fight, Charity Bike Ride Day 1. 9:00 am May 18th, from Quinn Fire Academy, Chicago, IL.  The Chicago Fire Department bike team begins it’s ride around Lake Michigan to raise money to fight pediatric cancer, organized by Rich Pinskey and Ignite the Spirit.

CFD Cubs Wrigleyville Rooftop Party for the United Negro College Fund. 6:35pm May 17th, 2010.  Organized by the CFD Office of Community Relations.

19th Battalion Retirement Party. 6pm to 10pm May 13th at 115 Bourbon Street.  “All men are created equal, then a few become firemen.”

Atlanta Defenders vs CPD Enforcers in National Public Safety Football Game, NPSFL. Saturday, May 15th at 6pm at Lane Tech. A Salute to the Armed Services and a fundraiser for Chicago Police Charities.

Chicago Outfit Roller Derby at Windy City Fieldhouse skates against North Star Roller Girls of Minneapolis. Saturday, May 15th at 8pm.  Donations for Moxie Mayhem Memorial Fund.  Moxie lost her life after being struck by a car while jogging with her daughter Zoe.

Bike to Fight Pediatric Cancer Send Off Party. May 8th will be a send off party for the CFD Bicycle team at Cubby Bear, 4-8pm. Live music, food, drink, raffles and prizes. An Ignite the Spirit Firefighter Charity.

Cubs Rooftop for Ignite the Spirit 2010. April 26th, 2010 FS&R 1D – EMS 1, 7:05 National vs Cubs.  $100 per ticket, includes game, food, drinks and a whole lot of fun.  Tickets are EXTREMELY limited.  You must contact us before Thursday April 22nd if you would like to attend.  There may not be any tickets left, so contact us now to get one of the last rooftop tickets.

The Chicago Outfit Roller Derby League home opener is April 24th at Windy City Fieldhouse 2367 W. Logan Blvd. The Roller Derby League is a not for profit and the League is donating to Ignite the Spirit. Let’s support these tough chicks!

The 7th Annual Battle of the Badges! CFD VS CPD, Friday Night Fights.  Firefighters boxing Police on Friday, April 16th, 2010 at DeLaSalle Institute.  Tickets $10 in advance, $15 at the door (if there are any left).

Bike to Fight Fundraiser at Moher’s Public House. April 15th, 2010, 7 to 10pm.  5310 W. Devon. $30 per adult includes beer, wine, well drinks.  $10 per child includes soft drinks. $4.19 for appetizers.

UPDATE!  FABIANSKI LEADS THE CFD TO A VICTORY! WingMadness 2010 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Chicago Police vs Chicago Firefighters in a wing eating contest hosted by Mancow Muller.  Wednesday, April 7th, Dick’s Last Resort, 315 N. Dearborn, Event starts at 5:30; the competition will start around 6:00. We ask that all competitors are there by 5:30 for a quick briefing. There is validated park available at State and Kinzie (for $10) or the lot at Clark and Kinzie is $8 after 3pm.

UPDATE!  CFD Flames Beat the CPD Stars 7-4! The Annual Police Fire Hockey Game. CFD Fire vs CPD Stars, Friday March 26th 2010.  At the United Center.  Puck drops at 3pm.  Tickets are only $5 at the window.  Gates open at 2:30.  Don’t miss the National Anthem.
