It isn’t a secret, firefighters like to eat.  Firemen are also great cooks.  The video above is an example of common training done by Chicago firefighters each day, to remain champions in competitive eating contests.

What could be better then eating, for a great charity.  A wonderful charity firefighters try to help is the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Wing Madness 2010 is a benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Fabianski is in the video training for the contest.

Firefighter charities are very active supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Wing Madness is hosted by Mancow Muller, and the Dr. on call is VH1′s Celebrity Fit Club Dr. Ian Smith.

No Direction is playing live.  The celebrity judges are Secretary of State Jesse White, Chicago Alderman Ed Burke, Janet Wilmoth of Fire Chief Magazine, and Skyline columnist Felicia Dechter.

Like most Chicago Department Sports, we compete against the Chicago Police Department.  Although the Chicago Fire Department is about a third the size of the Police Department, firefighters have consistently proven to be better athletes then the police.

Firemen are like southsiders, good guys, great athletes.
