Chicago Fire Department Hockey, the CFD Fire

The Fire Department Hockey team is the CFD Flames.  The Flames played the Chicago Police Department, CPD Stars on March 26th, 2010 at the United Center in Chicago.

Final score: Chicago Fire Department Flames  7 Chicago Police Department Stars 4.

This is a drop the gloves grudge match.  It was a tight contest for 2 periods with the score tied 3-3 at the end of 2.

The Fireman were like a fast spreading fire in the 3rd period, scoring twice, quickly.  The Police sensing trouble pull the goalie, and the firefighters drop another goal, which effectively clinched a third consective victory for the Chicago Fire Department Hockey Club.

The CFD Flames maintain possession of the coveted rivalry trophy.
